Reiner Group, Inc. & Lennox- Celebrating the Unsung Heroes in Our Community
A group of Reiner employees recently went to a Lennox convention in Washington, D.C. In addition to upcoming heating and air conditioning product releases and ways to serve our customers better, we were introduced to a program called Feel the Love. Every year Lennox invites their distributors to take part in the program. This year Reiner eagerly joined in to be a part of this worthy cause. As we are continually looking for new ways to help those in our community, we thought this would be a wonderful opportunity.
The basis of the Feel the Love program is that the manufacturer of our heating and cooling systems, Lennox, donates a furnace and their distributors install the unit in the homes of people in need. Lennox distributors, like Reiner, reach out to our employees and customers to find someone in our community who they consider deserving of this gift. This would include first responders, teachers, veterans or someone who has fallen on hard times financially.
We often hear on the news in the Winter about checking on elderly or ill neighbors to make sure they are keeping warm. They give information about heating centers in case someone is in a home without a source of heat. Extreme temperatures can be very concerning for older people, infants and people with a compromised immune system. Additionally, many people cannot afford to replace their non-working heating equipment and suffer through without complaint which can affect them, as well as their children and pets, more than they realize.
Reiner Group, Inc. already works with Habitat for Humanity and is involved with other non-profit organizations, but this program allows us to reach other members of the community that we may not otherwise see or service. Our installation and service technicians will be dedicating their time to install the furnace (October 5th and 6th) and our Reiner Team will be there with the recipient and their family to make sure the weekend is extra special. Each recipient will also receive a Comfort Shield 3-year labor protection plan to ensure their new unit is running properly for years to come.
